Williams Rose 2023, Cambridgeshire
ONLY 370 Bottles Made.
Our Rosé was awarded a silver medal (with 92 points!)at the International Wines and Spirits Competition, which made it the most highly rated English Still Rosé in the competition and in the top 15 in the world!
From our winery in Cambridgeshire, we actively manage every step from grape to glass, ensuring the high quality of each wine produced. We cultivate grapes in our boutique vineyard and source grapes from England’s finest vineyards.
Our 2023 Rosé, is a harmonious blend of Bacchus and Pinot Noir grapes from Sustainable Wines of Great Britain-accredited Frome Valley Vineyard, Herefordshire. The Pinot Noir used in our Rosé is extracted from our Red wine during the early stages of its skin contact maceration period, using a method known as Saignée (“sohn-yay”) meaning “to bleed”. The Saignée'd Pinot Noir and the Bacchus are then fermented separately and carefully balanced in their blending to bring together a Rosé of exceptional character.
It offers a sensory journey like no other; enticing aromas of elderflower and peach lead to a palate of summer fruits. The wine pairs beautifully with cheeses, salads and fish, particularly smoked salmon, yet is equally enchanting on its own.
In every sip, our Rosé invites you to experience its vibrant artistry and revel in its refreshing charm.
