Roux Pere & Fils Rully La Martelle 2019

Various soils and exposures make Rully one of the most diverse growing regions in all of Burgundy. ‘La Martelle’, found in the southern tip of Rully and right outside Mercurey, produces high quality Pinot Noir. Vines vary in altitude from 200 to 275 meters. This wine has a bright ruby color with a bouquet composed of black & red fruits, and a hint of licorice, lilac, and rose petals. On the palate, the tannins respect the fruit and give the wine a well-defined structure. Perfect on its own or with poultry dishes in cream sauce.
