On the palate, this is bright and engaging with a dancing, salty acidity and fresh, reverberating finish. A delicious entry-level white that delivers huge amounts of pleasure and character from the get-go. Produced from vineyards averaging 30 years old, aged in stainless steel tanks on the lees for 6 months. Petrara is named after an ancient area of the city of Matelica and comes from primarily south facing clay-limestone vineyards.
