Meursault 2020 Dom. Christian Bellang

The Bellang family have been making wine in Burgundy for generations, but it’s only since son Christophe took over in the 90s that their reputation has soared, his Meursaults are excellent without the huge price tag that many have.
Very nicely balanced fresh chardonnay flavours, ranging from zingy citrus and apple, through peach, to a little sweet mango and fresh guava. Gentle, restrained oak, which adds a bit of vanilla and butterscotch to the creamy body without overpowering.
