Cairanne Peyre Blanche 2016 Famille Perrin

Another nice example from this producer of great value wines. Lovely purple colour. Cherry, plum and faint baking spice on the nose. Sour plum and black cherry flavours. Medium high tannins and acidity but not unpleasant. Try their Vacqueyras and Vinsobres for even better experiences.

Cairanne is one of the best terroirs in the Southern Rhône. The 2016 vintage in the Southern Rhone valley is exceptional, both in terms of quality and quantity, thanks to idyllic weather conditions that protected the region from climatic accidents throughout the whole year.
