Auxey-Duresses Rouge 2021, Dom. Labry

An elegant, classically styled red Burgundy offering fragrant red cherry, cranberry and wild berry fruit, with touches of violet, cracked pepper and gentle woodland spice. Fresh and supple on the palate, with finely integrated tannins, bright acidity and a subtle limestone minerality on the finish. Already approachable, but with enough structure to develop further. Excellent with roast duck, mushroom dishes or soft-rind cheeses.

Domaine André et Bernard Labry is a small, third-generation family estate based in the hamlet of Melin, just above Auxey-Duresses. Now run by Sophie Labry who combines the family’s traditional approach with more modern, environmentally conscious vineyard practices.
